Launching GMR Chinmaya Vidyalaya
Bhogapuram, Andhra Pradesh
"3. What is the role of the teacher today? A teacher’s job is to set the student to think independently and give him/her the art of educating himself/herself. No doubt some of the teachers are loaded with work, but even in the present system there are some rare few who, in spite of their work, experience it as a load of joy. We must consider in our discussion how the workloads can be converted into joy-loads of self-satisfaction in having done our best to carve out the future leaders of our country. Earlier it was the responsibility of the politicians to win our independence. Now we must consider that iti is the responsibility of the teacher to create the true Bharat by paying attention to the formation of character in the present and future generations."
To be a center of educational excellence that empowers students to become global citizens with strong values, innovative thinking, and a commitment to positive social change.
The central guiding body for all Chinmaya educational institutions under the Chinmaya Mission.
The Chinmaya Education Cell, established under the Chinmaya Mission, serves as the central guiding body for all Chinmaya educational institutions. Rooted in the vision of Swami Chinmayananda, it emerged from his belief that true education must integrate intellectual growth with cultural grounding and value-based living.
Since its inception, the Education Cell has worked to translate this ideal into a cohesive model followed by Chinmaya Vidyalayas, colleges, and professional institutions across India and abroad. Its vision is to nurture individuals who are not only academically competent but also compassionate, self-disciplined, and spiritually aware.
The Chinmaya Education movement is nurtured by a dedicated team whose guidance keeps our vision and values alive in every classroom.
