Fire Safety Mock Drill was organized on the occasion of Fire Service Week, today at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro by the Bokaro Fire Department. The event was graced by Fire Officer Shri Bhagwan Ojha, along with other officials Raja Ram Mohanty, Praveen Toppo, and Bablu Yadav. Students, teachers and office staff assembled in the sports ground. The Secretary Shri Mahesh Tripathi, Principal Shri Suraj Sharma, Senior Vice-Principal Shri Narmendra Kumar and Vice-Principal Shri Roshan Sharma were also present. The session commenced with an informative address by Fire Officer Shri Bhagwan Ojha, who provided detailed insights into fire safety. He explained the four categories of fire and the appropriate methods to control and extinguish each type effectively. Advising the students he emphasized the importance of staying calm during fire emergencies.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro has once again upheld its legacy of Academic Excellence following the announcement of the CBSE Class 10th Board Results on Wednesday evening. Nidhesh Agarwal clinched the top spot in the school with a stellar score of 98.6%, while Shrivats Chatterjee and Manjeet Rajan secured the second and third positions, respectively. The school achieved a 100% pass rate, reflecting its commitment to high educational standards. 42 students scored above 95% and an impressive 48 students secured a perfect 100/100 in various subjects. This sentiment came to life on Monday as the campus of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, was transformed by the ethereal melodies of the Veena and the rhythmic precision of the Tabla. Under the aegis of SPIC MACAY, the school hosted a masterful performance by renowned Veena exponent Pandit Salil Bhatt and distinguished Tabla artist Shri Kaushish Konwar. Highlights of the Event A Sacred Beginning: The program commenced with a traditional welcome and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, invoking the blessings of the revered Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati. Interactive Artistry: In a unique display of engagement, the artists invited students to chant the seven swaras (musical notes), which then served as the foundation for a mesmerizing Jugalbandi based on Raga Parameshwari. Cultural Immersion: The harmonious interplay between the instruments created an atmosphere of absolute musical bliss, leaving the audience spellbound. Lord Hanuman, revered as the embodiment of strength, wisdom and unwavering devotion, continues to inspire millions of devotees. In times of adversity, the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa brings solace, peace and inner strength. 🙏 With this noble objective and as part of the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, Chinmaya Mission Bokaro organized a grand Hanuman Chalisa Yajna at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, on Saturday, 11th April. The spiritually vibrant event witnessed the gracious presence of over five thousand devotees, including students, parents, and members of the community. The school’s play ground was beautifully transformed into a grand Havan pavilion, where more than 2,500 devotees participated in offering oblations into the sacred Havan Kunds while collectively reciting the Hanuman Chalisa eleven times. The entire आयोजन was conducted under the divine guidance of Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati, Resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Bokaro. The occasion was further graced by Mr. Harihar Raut, Secretary of Chinmaya Mission Bokaro. Distinguished members of the School Management Committee—President Mr. Biswarup Mukhopadhyay, Secretary Mr. Mahesh Tripathi, and Treasurer Mr. R. N. Malik—were present, along with Principal Mr. Suraj Sharma, Senior Vice Principal Mr. Narmendra Kumar, Vice Principal Mr. Roshan Sharma, and the dedicated teaching faculty. Eminent educationists from the region also marked their presence and actively participated in the Havan, including Mrs. Manisha Tiwari (Principal, DPS Chas), Mr. S. K. Mishra (Principal, DAV Sector 4), Mr. Bipul Singh (Principal, Rainbow Public School), and Mr. Mukesh Kumar (Principal, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Public School). The Yajna commenced with the ceremonial worship of Lord Hanuman, conducted with devotion and precision by Mr. Udit Pandey and Mr. Manish Pandey. This was followed by the synchronized chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa and the sacred Havan. Devotees seated around twenty-seven Havan Kunds, guided by 27 learned priests, offered oblations with deep श्रद्धा, while the entire परिसर resonated with divine vibrations, creating a truly transcendental atmosphere. At the culmination of the ceremony, Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati blessed the gathering and distributed Prasad. In her address, she emphasized that such spiritual practices instill devotion, discipline and mental clarity in students, helping them channel their energies positively.

Exemplifying the spirit of service and social responsibility, a successful Blood Donation Camp was organized on Sunday, 5th April at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro. The camp was a joint initiative of the Chinmaya Bokaro Alumni Association and the Chinmaya Vidyalaya family, in collaboration with Sadar Hospital, Bokaro. The event was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Ranjit Kumar (Deputy Labour Commissioner, Bokaro), Dr. Maithili Thakur (MOIC, Blood Centre, Sadar Hospital), and Dr. Prashant Kumar (Psychiatrist and Program Officer, NMHP). We also had the presence of Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati (Resident Acharya, Chinmaya Mission Bokaro), Mr. Biswarup Mukhopadhyay (President), Mr. Mahesh Tripathi (Secretary), Mr. Suraj Sharma (Principal), Mr. Narmendra Kumar (Senior Vice-Principal), and Dr. Roshan Sharma (Vice-Principal). From early hours, a steady stream of donors gathered at the school premises, reflecting a strong sense of community participation. Mr Ranjit Kumar ( President of Alumni Association), Mr. Shashikant (Secretary), Dr. Pallav, Mr. Shaibal Gupta, Mrs. Sonali, Mrs. Amrita, Mrs. Neha, Mr. Chandan Banthia and Mr. Ankit Jain were present. Some prominent Alumnis of CV, Bokaro, like Kumar Shilpi, Dr. Ambarish Soni, Abhishek Mishra, Abhishek Sharma, etc., also participated actively in this drive and motivated others for the same. Teachers and staff of the school also actively contributed to the noble cause, with Principal Mr. Suraj Sharma leading by example by donating blood. A total of 56 units of blood were collected, which will serve as a vital, life-saving resource for many in need. Keeping in view the increased demand for blood during the summer season—especially for children suffering from Thalassemia—the camp was thoughtfully organized to address this pressing need. The initiative stands as a commendable effort in mitigating blood shortages and inspiring others to contribute to society. On behalf of the institution, Secretary Mr. Mahesh Tripathi and Principal Mr. Suraj Sharma expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Alumni Association for this noble initiative and appreciated the support of Sadar Hospital in making the camp a grand success.

The workshop was conducted by esteemed resource persons, Mr. Shiv Shankar Yadav and Mrs. Soni Shalini. On April 3rd, 'Chinmaya Smiles Back' (the alumni association) organized a scholarship examination under the 'Pratibha Poshan Yojana.' Meritorious students from economically weaker sections across various parts of the district appeared for this examination. A total of 674 students from 150 different schools participated in the scholarship test. Present on this occasion were members of 'Chinmaya Smiles Back,' including Amarendra Narayan, Sanjeev Mishra, Srishti, Amrita, and others. School's Secretary, Shri Mahesh Tripathi; Principal, Shri Suraj Sharma and Vice-Principal, Shri Narmendra Kumar, were also present. Students from 150 private and government schools participated in the exam, comprising 156 students from Class 7, 166 from Class 8, 190 from Class 9 and 162 from Class 10. From this group, 50 selected students will be awarded scholarships under the 'Yojana.' The auspicious day of Hanuman Jayanti - 2026 was celebrated across the globe with deep reverence and devotion as the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman. On this special day, 11 times Hanuman Chalisa Path was organized at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro. During this event, more than 500 devotees from across the district gathered in the school's Swami Tapovan Hall to recite Hanuman Chalisa. Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati graced the occasion with her divine presence, serving as the spiritual guide for the evening. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, organized a joint celebration for Kindergarten Graduation and Grandparents' Day on Friday, 20th March 2026. The event was graced by the presence of school's Secretary, Shri Mahesh Tripathi; Treasurer, Shri R.N. Malik; Principal, Shri Suraj Sharma and Vice-Principal, Shri Narmendra Kumar. The program commenced with a melodious welcome song. Following this, the distinguished guests were formally welcomed with sapling presentation. The proceedings then moved forward with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, invoking the blessings of Param Pujya Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati. The Program flow was as below: 'United India' - a fusion dance depicting the vibrant cultures from different states Western Dance by Class Prep students 'Identify the apple of your eye' - Special game for the Grandparents "Jungle Dance" by the Nursery and Pre-Nursery students Balls into bucket Game for the grandparents The highlight of the program was a theatrical enactment of the 'Ramayana'. Scenes depicting key events—ranging from the birth of Lord Rama and the 'Sita Swayamvar' to Rama's exile, the abduction of Sita, and Lord Rama's triumphant return to the city of Ayodhya—were dramatically portrayed. Students of Classes 1 and 2 performed this magnificent presentation. Following this, a special video was screened for all parents present at the event, featuring photographs of the Prep-class students alongside their grandparents. Watching this, the eyes of everyone in the auditorium appeared moist with emotion. Additionally, the parents were shown a PowerPoint presentation, which featured Swami Swaroopananda Ji, Global Head, Chinmaya Mission, extending an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the Chinmaya Mission's *Amrit Utsav*.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro is organizing a two-day non residential Bal Vihar Camp on 18th and 19th March, 2026. Children from Std. III to V are participating in this camp. These two days are going to be filled with energy, joy, happiness, learnings and activities. On the 1st day of the camp, children participated in various fun activities. During the Inaugural Session, Principal Shri Suraj Sharma lighted the auspicious ceremonial light. After this, children enjoyed the yoga session. Following this, children enjoyed some fun games activities. Also, children were involved in music, dance and craft works. Principal Shri Suraj Sharma said that children should enjoy everyday and learn from every aspect of life. He said, that knowledge is not only confined to books and copies, but an interesting game or a fun craft activity can also make children learn and know new things.
