Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its students, who have brought laurels to the institution through their excellence in academics and sports. Arshitha N (Class VII) secured 1st Prize in the U-13 Girls category at the Coimbatore District Open Chess Tournament, showcasing remarkable strategic thinking and focus. Shreyas R (Class IV) won 1st Prize in the Inter School Roller Skating Competition (Cadet Level) 2026–27, demonstrating skill, confidence, and determination. Aathmika Ajith (Class V) achieved 2nd Prize at the Chittur Taluk Library Council Sargotsavam 2026, reflecting her enthusiasm and commitment to learning. These achievements stand as a testament to the holistic education and value-based learning nurtured at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode. A spiritually enriching session titled “Gateway to Success” was conducted on 27 January 2026, led by H. H. Swami Chidroopananda. The discourse drew profound insights from the Shanti Parva of the Mahabharata, particularly through the Story of the Camel, highlighting the importance of self-reliance, personal responsibility, and trusting one’s own judgement while performing one’s duties. Swamiji elaborated on the timeless wisdom conveyed through a powerful śloka from the Vidura Nīti section of the Udyoga Parva, where Vidura advises King Dhritarashtra on the six obstacles that hinder a person’s progress and success—excessive sleep, lethargy, fear, anger, laziness, and procrastination. The session offered valuable guidance on cultivating discipline, clarity of thought, and inner strength, inspiring participants to overcome personal limitations and walk steadily on the path of growth and success. 🙏 Hari Om

77th Republic Day Celebration – Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The programme highlighted a special mime performance by our students, which beautifully conveyed the values of unity, sacrifice, discipline, and respect for the Indian Constitution. Through expressive visuals and silent narration, the students reflected the true spirit of the Republic and inspired the audience to uphold the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Chinmaya Science Olympiad was successfully conducted on 21 January 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Olympiad provided students with an excellent platform to apply scientific concepts, enhance analytical thinking, and demonstrate their problem-solving skills. Students participated with enthusiasm and concentration, reflecting their preparation and curiosity for learning science. The examination was conducted smoothly under the able supervision of the invigilators, Ms. Praveena C. K. and Ms. Akarsha Santhosh, ensuring a disciplined and well-organized academic environment.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode extends its sincere gratitude to the dedicated medical team of the Family Health Centre, led by Dr. Boby Mani, for their valuable guidance and support in fostering the health and well-being of our students.

The students participated with confidence, concentration, and enthusiasm, reflecting their preparedness and keen interest in learning. The Olympiad was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Akarsha Santhosh and Mr. Sudheesh D, with smooth invigilation support provided by Ms. Ajanya V and Mr. Sudheesh D. Such academic initiatives reaffirm the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence, discipline, and holistic development in accordance with the Chinmaya Vision Programme.
