MATHS AND SCIENCE OLYMPIAD 2026

The Chinmaya Mathematics Olympiad on 19th January 2026 and the Chinmaya Science Olympiad on 21st January 2026, organised by the CCMT Education Cell, were successfully conducted at CIRS, encouraging students to enhance their analytical and scientific thinking skills.

We are proud to share that our school received the Best School Award from the Kerala Consumer Protection Council on 19th January 2026. The award was presented by Hon. Minister Sri.K Krishnankutty, in the presence of Adv. Sri Murugadas, Director, KSEB. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kollengode organized the Bala Vihar Programme for students of Grades 1 to 5 on Saturday, 17 January 2026, within the school premises. The programme was conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and focused on nurturing moral values, cultural awareness, and spiritual growth among young learners. Through engaging activities and guided sessions, students actively participated and gained meaningful learning experiences aligned with holistic education.

Sports is very important in everyone's life. It helps maintain good physical and mental health. An inter-house volleyball competition was organized at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro on Saturday, 17th January 2026. Players from all four houses of the school – Agni, Vayu, Jal, and Prithvi – participated. All the players displayed excellent sportsmanship. Principal Shri Suraj Sharma, was present during the competition. In the final match, Vayu House defeated Prithvi House with scores of 25-13 and 26-24 to claim the victory. In the initial matches of the day, Vayu House defeated Agni House with scores of 25-16 and 28-26, and Prithvi House defeated Jal House with scores of 25-17 and 25-07 to secure their places in the final. The final match was then played between Vayu and Prithvi. Vayu House emerged victorious, defeating Prithvi House with scores of 25-13 and 26-24. Principal Mr. Suraj Sharma met all the teams and wished them good luck.
