A love for reading is a gift for life 📚📚📚📚.... Chinmaya Shishuvatika Tattamangalam celebrated Reading day with great enthusiasm and joy.The celebration began with a warm welcome speech highlighting the importance of reading and the value of books. The children then presented an energetic Action Rhyme on Books, spreading the message that reading is both fun and educational. A special attraction of the day was the Parent–Child Story Narration Competition, wherein parents and children together narrated interesting stories with confidence and creativity. The event encouraged family bonding through reading and storytelling. The children also participated in the Favourite Character Ramp Walk, dressed as their beloved storybook characters. Their colourful costumes and confident presentations brought many favourite characters to life. A delightful Book Picnic was organised, allowing children to sit together and enjoy reading their favourite books in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. To promote a love for reading, the children contributed to the creation of a beautiful Reading Tree by displaying leaf cut-outs featuring their favourite books and story characters. A vibrant Reading Wall was also set up, showcasing children's reading-related activities. The celebration successfully instilled the habit of reading among the children and reinforced the message that books are our best friends. The camp was conducted with the objective of promoting oral hygiene awareness and encouraging preventive dental care. Experienced dental professionals carried out comprehensive oral health screenings, offered personalized guidance on maintaining good dental hygiene, and highlighted the importance of regular dental check-ups for the early detection and prevention of oral health issues. The initiative emphasized the significance of healthy gums, strong teeth, confident smiles, and overall well-being.
