Farewell 2026 at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro
31-Jan-2026The school years are considered the happiest and the golden period of anyone's life. Success in life is built upon the knowledge and values learned during student life... A farewell ceremony was organized for the Class 12 students of the 2025-26 batch at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro on 31st January 2026. Amidst songs, music, and glimpses of old memories, all the students bid farewell with teary eyes. Chief Guest for the ceremony was Acharya Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati of Chinmaya Mission, Bokaro. Also present were the President of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, Shri Biswarup Mukhopadhyay, Secretary Shri Mahesh Tripathi, Principal Shri Suraj Sharma, and Vice-Principal Shri Narmendra Kumar. The ceremony was conducted and organized by the students of Classes 10 and 11. Mr. Subrata Gupta was the main coordinator of the entire ceremony.

30-Jan-2026Students of Grade 7 from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kollengode presented a role play based on Chapter 9 of the Bhagavad Gita as part of their value-based learning activities. The presentation focused on conveying the core message of devotion, faith, and surrender through simple enactments and dialogues. The students demonstrated good understanding, teamwork, and sincerity in expressing the teachings of the Gita in an engaging and relatable manner. Such activities encourage experiential learning and help students connect classical spiritual knowledge with everyday life, reinforcing the holistic educational vision of Chinmaya Mission.

The sheer scale of the event transformed the chanting into a powerful collective experience, where individual voices dissolved into one harmonious flow of sacred sound.

The students conveyed profound values such as dharma, devotion, selfless action, inner discipline, and spiritual wisdom through expressive performances and impactful dialogues. The presentation reflected how the timeless message of the Gita continues to inspire young minds to lead purposeful, value-based lives. The event stood as a tribute to India’s rich spiritual heritage and echoed the vision of Swami Chinmayananda, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education rooted in Indian culture and universal values.
Gateway to Success – Talk by H. H. Swami Chidroopananda
27-Jan-2026A spiritually enriching session titled “Gateway to Success” was conducted on 27 January 2026, led by H. H. Swami Chidroopananda. The discourse drew profound insights from the Shanti Parva of the Mahabharata, particularly through the Story of the Camel, highlighting the importance of self-reliance, personal responsibility, and trusting one’s own judgement while performing one’s duties. Swamiji elaborated on the timeless wisdom conveyed through a powerful śloka from the Vidura Nīti section of the Udyoga Parva, where Vidura advises King Dhritarashtra on the six obstacles that hinder a person’s progress and success—excessive sleep, lethargy, fear, anger, laziness, and procrastination. The session offered valuable guidance on cultivating discipline, clarity of thought, and inner strength, inspiring participants to overcome personal limitations and walk steadily on the path of growth and success. 🙏 Hari Om
