A series of special events was organized on Saturday, September 5th, at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro to mark Teacher's Day. Students and teachers participated with immense enthusiasm. The Director-in-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant, Shri Priya Ranjan, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Bokaro - Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati, President - Biswaroop Mukhopadhyay, Secretary - Mahesh Tripathi, Principal In - Charge - Narmendra Kumar, and Vice Principal - Dr. Roshan Sharma were also present. The program began with student performances, starting with a welcome song. Following this, a poem recited by Vaishnavi deeply moved the teachers. Female students then performed a special dance, showcasing India's rich cultural heritage. Finally, acting as 'pupil teachers,' students honored their educators by presenting them with handmade cards. The entire segment was organized under the guidance of the School Student Council and teacher Subrata Gupta. Chief Guest Shri Priya Ranjan (DIC, SAIL-Bokaro) and other dignitaries inaugurated the second half of the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp in memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This segment featured performances by the teachers, for the teachers. It commenced with a welcome song by the school staff and faculty, followed by an energetic dance performance by the pre-primary wing teachers. This was followed by a vibrant dance performance by the primary wing teachers, which was enjoyed by all. Teachers from the middle wing enthralled the audience with a special performance, while senior wing teachers staged a play depicting the school's daily operations. An interactive game was also organized for the teachers, where they had to identify individuals from incomplete photographs. A cultural ramp walk was presented, showcasing the diverse heritage and folk art of various Indian states, drawing wide appreciation for the teachers' efforts. In his address, Chief Guest Shri Priya Ranjan emphasized that a teacher holds the most important position in society, describing their role as peerless and invaluable. He noted, that a teacher accepts every kind of student and helps them reach great heights. He congratulated Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro on completing 50 years, paid tribute to all the teachers and offered his best wishes for the future.

Krishna Janmashtami celebrated with the theme of "Kanankana Kindi"(Udupi Krishna Matha)

A special assembly and Matki Phod competition was organized at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro on Thursday, September 3, to mark Krishna Janmashtami. Students of senior wing participated with great enthusiasm and joy. School Secretary Mahesh Tripathi and Vice-Principal Dr. Roshan Sharma were present on the occasion. Students from all the four houses formed human pyramids to break the Matki and celebrated the festival. A mandali of female students was also formed, and they successfully broke the pot as well. The special assembly commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a sweet Krishna Bhajan performed by the CTC students. Next, students presented the life story of Lord Krishna through a short skit, which was warmly enjoyed by both students and teachers. However, the main attraction of the special program remained the Matki Phod competition. Teams representing all four school houses—Agni, Vayu, Jal, and Prithvi—formed mandalies to reach and break the high-hanging Matki. A unique wave of excitement and spirit was visible among the participants. The house teams built pyramids to shatter the Matki while chanting "Jai Shree Krishna," reflecting the true essence of Janmashtami. Senior wing In-charge Rahul Roy, CTC Convener Sanjeev Mishra and Assembly Convener Abhinav Barman were present alongside house teachers throughout the event.

Krishnastami was celebrated with great joy & devotion, highlighting the birth and teachings of Lord Krishna.

With the arrival of September, preparations for Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Teachers' Day are in full swing. In regard of this, a special assembly was organized at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro on Tuesday, September 1 for the Middle Wing (Std. 3 - Std 5). Students performed Krishna bhajans, dances and a play based on the life of Lord Krishna. Additionally, the students honored all teachers by presenting them with hand made cards for Teachers' Day. Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, Principal In-Charge Narmendra Kumar, Vice Principal Dr. Roshan Sharma and Middle Wing Academic Supervisor Rashmi Singh were present during the event. The assembly began with Guru Vandana. Following this, teachers offered flowers and paid tribute to the portraits of Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Opening the event, the students presented a melodious Krishna bhajan, followed by a special song dedicated to the teachers. Honoring their educators, students presented hand-made greeting cards to their beloved teachers and sought their blessings. A special play depicted the legendary story of friendship between Shri Krishna and Sudama, leaving emotions in the eyes of students, teachers and guests present. Addressing the gathering, Secretary Mahesh Tripathi extended his wishes for Janmashtami and Teachers' Day. He noted that celebrating both occasions together holds profound significance, as Lord Krishna is revered as the 'Jagadguru' who encompassed all the world's wisdom in the Bhagavad Gita. He added, that answers to all questions in any circumstance can be found through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.

On Monday, August 31, the Bokaro Chapter of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) organized a Career Guidance and Interaction Session on the subject of Certified Management Accountant (CMA) for 12th-grade students at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro. The key speakers and chief guests for the day were CMA Manoj Kumar, General Manager (Finance & Accounts-BSL), alongside CMA B. K. Srivastava, Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts), CMA Neelam Sanjay, Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts) and CMA Sneha, Assistant General Manager (Finance & Accounts). School Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, Principal In-Charge Narmendra Kumar and Vice-Principal Dr. Roshan Sharma were also present. The workshop commenced with the presentation of saplings to the chief guests and the traditional lighting of the lamp. Following this, Supriya Chowdhury introduced all the attending guests to the students. Mrs. Sneha initiated the student address by sharing her personal experiences and highlighting the utility and prospects of the CMA course. She then invited CMA B. K. Srivastava to deliver his address, during which he provided detailed information on career opportunities available after the 12th grade. He detailed the CMA academic path, noting that future prospects in Cost and Management Accountancy are bright. He also shared the achievements of the ICMAI Bokaro Chapter, mentioning that while public awareness of this field remains low, it offers vast potential for a successful career. CMA Neelam Sanjay informed students that CMA is not limited to commerce students; it serves as a viable career option for science and arts students as well. CMA Manoj Kumar encouraged the students and offered his best wishes for their future while expressing gratitude to the school management for organizing the event. Puneet Doshi, Nishant Singh, S. N. Jha, Roshan Rahul, and Nisha Sinha were also present during the workshop.

The primary objective of Param Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati was to make the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita reach to every single human on Earth. To fulfill this vision, he established Chinmaya Mission in 1953. On Sunday, August 30, city-level Chinmaya Gita Chanting Competition was organized by Chinmaya Mission Bokaro at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro. More than 300 students from Nursery to Class 12 actively participated by reciting the 12th chapter of Gita. Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati, Resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Bokaro, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Other prominent dignitaries present included President Biswarup Mukhopadhyay, Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, Chinmaya Mission Bokaro Secretary Harihar Raut, Treasurer RN Malik, Former Principal Ashok Jha, Principal In-Charge Narmendra Kumar, Vice Principal Dr. Roshan Sharma and State Coordinator of the competition Sanjeeo Kumar Mishra. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Following this, Acharya Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati addressed the parents, teachers and students, briefly explaining the significance of Chapter 12. She stated that devotion (bhakti) is the foundation of human life and no endeavor can be truly complete without it. Panel of judges included Mrs. Shalini, Mrs. Savita Paramanik, Mrs. Gitanjali, Mrs. Neha Avtar, Santosh Kumar Pandey, Manish Kumar Pandey, Mrs. Jaya, Mrs. Sindoora and Nimisha Mishra. Prior to this event, students were selected at the school level to compete at the district level. Students from various schools across Bokaro district participated, including Shree Ayyappa Public School, ARS Public School, GGPS Bokaro, Bokaro Public School, DPS Bokaro, DAV Sector 4, Kairali Public School, Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Sector 3 and many more. At the conclusion of the event, Swamini Samyuktananda Saraswati announced the competition results: Group A - Divit Sinha (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 1st, Atulika (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 2nd and Gargi Pawar (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 3rd. Group B - Navya Singh (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 1st, Vansh Raj (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 2nd and Veer Abhiraj (DPS Bokaro) 3rd. Group C - Advik Verma (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 1st, Vyom Bhardwaj (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 2nd and Navya Kumari 3rd. Group D - Sanam Meghna (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 1st, Aradhya Singh (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 2nd and Ravika Jha (DPS Bokaro) 3rd. Group E - Sajag Suryansh Pandey (DPS Bokaro) 1st, Gyana Shree (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 2nd and Akshita Vats (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 3rd. Group F - Shaurya Prakash (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 1st, Ananya Chauhan (Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir) 2nd and Gayatri Gautam (Chinmaya Vidyalaya) 3rd. Key members present from Chinmaya Mission Bokaro to make the program successful included Sanjeeo Mishra, Nimisha Mishra, Bhaskar, Anil and Kailash. Faculty members from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro—Jyoti Dubey, B.K. Srivastava, Manish Pandey, Udit Pandey, Subal Jha, Gitanjali Panda, Neha Avtar and Kundan Kumar—were also present.
